The beginning

this is my testimonial

It was a week before my 40th birthday. I was overweight, ate all the wrong things, didn’t exercise (although I had some equipment at home) so I needed a push. I noticed that someone I worked with, was offering personal training sessions. I had been to a lot of classes before, but never stuck at it.

So I thought if I had somebody who could give me 1 to 1 training, it sounded interesting.

So I thought,  “why not go and have a chat and see what he’s got to offer”.

So we arranged a consultation. He asked me lots of questions about my fitness history, and my personal story and background.

I had always been a big girl and tried diets of all kinds, also bums, legs and tums classes and other similar classes

I told him I could do similar things, but I couldn’t run, not even a little bit, it just wouldn’t happen!

So he took all that I’d said and wrote it down, explained how he could help me and give me a price plan, based on a 10 week programme, 2 hours a week.

So I thought “why not, I’ve got nothing to lose!”

At first, I was really worried about what we would do or would I be able to cope or be out of breath too quickly, but Simon was really patient.

He gave me different things to do, and as the weeks went on, i got stronger and more confident about trying new exercises.

Chapter 2

I also started going to all Simon’s different fitness classes. I found them really challenging at first, but the more i did, the more i wanted to do!

After a few weeks, the inches and weight started coming off. I measured myself once a week, and weighed myself every Monday. So every week, I couldn’t wait to see how well I had done.

After losing a lot of inches, friends started to comment on how good I looked, and that was so great to hear, and made me want to lose more.

I started at a size 22, and by the end of my 10 weeks, I was just getting into a size 16!

I lost a stone and a half in weight, and 42 and a half inches!

I felt so good, and wasn’t getting out of breath anywhere near as much as I was at the start of the programme!

The best thing was being able to buy new clothes. I didn’t have to go to the back of the rack to get the big sizes anymore!

I couldn’t believe how well I had done in such a short space of time

I cannot tell you how different it made me feel about myself. Just brilliant

Out of my whole experience training with Simon, my most memorable experience has got to be, the 5k jog I did during one of my personal training sessions

After telling him i couldn’t run, he had faith in me and told me there’s no such word as “cant”

I had never been so happy at achieving something EVER!

Simon believed in me and by the look on his face, at the end of that session, I knew he felt proud of me.

It made me so proud, that I had done something for him, in return for all the help and support he had given to me.

We also used boxing as part of my personal training sessions, which i REALLY enjoyed, and found to be a great workout!

I never once got bored as we were constantly using different types of workouts such as Tabata’s. Kettlebells, Bootcamp, Jogging, Boxing and Weight Training.

Simon is a great Personal Trainer. So much patience, very encouraging, and pushes you only to what he knows you can achieve.

I am so pleased i contacted him that day.

So if you need motivating, and want to lose weight and feel better about yourself, don’t hesitate to speak to Simon.

Go on, don’t keep putting it off or you will never do anything.

Give yourself goals to achieve and remember, anything is possible.
